Heralding the Law and the Gospel of Grace

Since I created a link to ClustrMaps to see the locations of the visitors to this blog I have been amazed and truely thankful to our Lord Jesus for the visitors who have passed through here. Checking-in also allows me to pray for the persons (red dots) that appear daily. Only our Father Almighty God knows who the persons are behind the "dots" - some are definitely brothers and sisters in Christ while others are unbelievers reading and hearing the Law and the Gospel of Grace for possibly the first time ever - whoever you are I thank God for your visiting. Since 28 January 2009 there have been 55 visits and it is a blessing to see how wide the Law and the Gospel of Jesus Christ is travelling to the ends of the earth. Visits are from as-far-afield as Mongolia, Iraq (one being Daniel Kamilchu of the US Army), Brazil, Chile, Romania, United Kingdom, Germany and the United States.

Seeing the evangelical net is being cast so wide I hope to make known as many resources as possible to Christians and unbelievers alike as we preach the Law and the Gospel of Grace as ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).

We do that by using every means available to bring reliable, verse-by-verse Bible teaching to as large an audience as possible. With this latest ministry decision, we hope to expand that reach even further.

We want you to know that every sermon in the Grace to You library is available for MP3 download, free of charge. From now on, anyone with an Internet connection has completely free and unfettered access to every message John MacArthur has preached. Nearly forty years of Bible teaching, thousands of sermons covering the vast majority of the New Testament and much of the Old Testament, are only a few mouse clicks away.

MISSION

The mission of this blog is to encourage Christians to be obedient to The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8) given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ and to Glorify our God by proclaiming the Law and the Gospel of Grace to the unsaved.

This blog is to give all praise and glory to the One and only True and Living God Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

I hope to be faithful "rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15b) in recording sound biblical doctrine and theology and that the posts are not to solicit personal praise, but to give rightful honour and glorious praise to all the victories belonging to our Lord and Saviour - King Jesus.

Let Down Your Nets
There is no exclusion put upon any tribe or clan, no classes are laid under ban, no individuals are exempted. Therefore, Church of Christ, by the love you bear to your crucified Master, by His wounds and death for you, and by His living love to you, seek out the lost and gather together the outcasts. You fishers of men, launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a draught. You sowers of holy seed, go abroad, and sow the untrodden wastes. You consecrated builders, break away from old foundations, and lay fresh groundwork for a larger temple for your God and King. Surely the Spirit of love in a church will suggest this.
